Limit Report Data To The Current Employee

In [email protected] and [email protected] you can create a single Inquiry Profile which when viewed by any employee will only show data for that employee.

This is a very useful feature because it allows you to write one Inquiry Profile which can be deployed throughout the organisation but yet returns specific data depending on who runs and views the report.

Using Current Employee In An Inquiry Profile

To utilise this option all you need to do is use the variable “Current Employee” (see above) as one of your selection criteria. Also note that other Role related variables such as Line Manager, Project Manager etc can also be used.
