Resetting Task Scheduler Services

Sometimes you may need to reset the Task Scheduler Services in Windows. This article summarises the process.

Firstly you should remove the existing services by using:

“C:\Program Files\[email protected] TaskScheduler\uninstall_services.exe’

or

“C:\Program Files\[email protected] TaskScheduler\uninstall_services.exe’

Then you should setup the Tasks (such as Posting, Generation etc) using The Task Scheduler Application as Normal.

When you the Close the Task Scheduler the system will ask you if you want start the scheduler as service – press Yes.

Note: It is imperative that Task Scheduler services are started or restarted ONLY by using the Task Scheduler application and not directly from “services” in Windows. Please do not change any service parameters (automatic startup etc) through Windows as otherwise the service will not work correctly.
